1. General
    • The association shall be called ‘The British Pyrotechnists Association’ (BPA)
  2. Aims and Objectives of the BPA
    • To promote the UK professional firework display industry
    • To raise the standards of competence and safety within the industry by education and the provision of specialist knowledge training courses, examinations and by promoting best practice
  3. Members of the BPA
    •  Membership of the BPA is for professional firework display companies and not for individuals
    • The association shall set membership criteria
  4. Membership will be renewed on an annual basis on production of required documents and payment of a subscription fee
  5. Finances
    • The association’s financial year shall commence 1st January
    • Each member’s fee shall go towards the costs of administering the association
  6. General Rules of the BPA
    • BPA members are required to abide by the rules of the association
  7. BPA General Meetings
    • General meetings open to all members will be held at least 3 times a year
  8. BPA Management Committee (MC)
    • BPA members will elect a Management Committee who will administer the running of the BPA
  9. BPA Chairperson
    • BPA members will elect a chairperson from the management committee
  10. BPA Secretariat
    • The BPA will have an independent secretariat appointed by BPA members
    • The secretariat will administer the day to day running of the association and training courses
